Job Description
1 Prepare production plan based on market requirements of designated size & specification. 2 Develop production plans that incorporate injection molding schedules, optimizing the use of molds and machinery while meeting demand. 3 Plan maintenance activities for improvement in productivity by reducing breakdowns. 4 Work on succession planning of the workforce, appraise the member’s performance & provide feedback. 5 Direct procurement strategies / contingency plans and ensure they are aligned with production requirements. 6 Establish rigorous quality control procedures for injection molding, ensuring that product meet quality. 7 Implement lean manufacturing practices specifically for injection molding processes to minimize waste, reduce setup times, and improve efficiency. 8 Oversee maintenance and upkeep of injection molds, ensuring they are in optimal condition to produce high-quality of production. 9 Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the injection molding processes, focusing on optimizing cycle times, reducing defects, and enhancing resource utilization. 10 Provide leadership and training to the injection molding teams, ensuring a skilled workforce capable of operating and maintaining the equipment effectively. 11 Oversee the entire production, QC, Maintenance, efficiency, chemical usage. 12 Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage the timely delivery of injection molding materials and coordinate logistics. 13 Ensure that injection molding operations adhere to health andsafety regulations, particularly concerning machinery operation and maintenance. 14 Monitor and manage the financial aspects of injection molding operations, including cost analysis, budgeting, and revenue generation, to contribute to the overall profitability of the manufacturing unit. 15 By integrating injection molding expertise, the Head of Technical and Manufacturing can effectively manage the entire process, from material selection to production, while also ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
