Job Description

·      Responsible for Molds and Dies Purchases for all FIL plants.

·      Key activities will be managed like process optimization, technical specs finalization, Refurbishment activities, and cost negotiation and finalization.

·      Identify potential suppliers and vendors to fulfill the company’s procurement requirements. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and product availability.

·      Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements. Seek opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to facilitate effective communication and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise. Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback as needed. 5. Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory management teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory or stock outs. Monitor inventory turnover and identify opportunities for improvement.

·      Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process. Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations affecting procurement activities.

·      Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance metrics, and inventory levels. Provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.

·      Identify areas for process improvement within the procurement function and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.

·      Responsible for sourcing decisions for Indirect Purchases as per DOA.
