Job Description

1. Review and analyze key market trends, competition, customer insights for planning

new products / upgradation to current products for MBIL:

• Study various analysis and reports on market and competition and analyze to

determine MBIL offering

• Identify potential customer segments, key business drivers, buying patterns, etc.

in order to define customer requirements from products and evaluating

products against performance

• Plan any changes in vehicle specification in the market and analyze MBIL

products in line with competitor analysis for enhancements and upgradation

2. Plan and coordinate for product life cycle management:

• Prepare business case for new products as well as any upgradation and

customization required, that incorporates pricing points, potential volumes and

future market scenario

• Monitor the product life cycle for existing products in India and identify points /

areas for upgradation in line with market changes and competitors

• Collaborate with Homologation team to plan for vehicle configuration for

homologation purpose

• Coordinate with controlling on pricing for new products, upgrades,

customizations, accessories, etc.

• Coordinate with Marketing Communication team for updated information form

product brochures and product pricing

• Collaborate with HQ for various discussions pertaining to product introduction to

India

3. Ensure effective product launch management:

• Oversee and ensure seamless product launch management by effective planning

• Work with other teams on communication, sales pitch, market entry strategy for

different vehicles and support/train sales team on product features.

• Identify any bottlenecks or delays in the launch timelines and proactively

interact with various functions to resolve them
