About Us:

SLB is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing team. As a key player, you will contribute to the execution of our growth and innovation goals by leveraging your expertise in driving efficient software development processes and maintaining a robust DevOps environment.

Skill Sets:

Mandatory:

·        Have a strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery, with a focus on microservices architecture.

·        Utilize your expertise in Observability stack components such as Elastic Search, Fluentd, Grafana, Prometheus, Mimir, Thanos, and Loki.

·        Design, build, maintain, and coordinate automated build/release processes from development to production environments.

·        Demonstrate proficiency in DevSecOps practices to ensure the security of our systems.

·        Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts, with a preference for experience in GCP and Azure cloud environments.

·        Implement GitOps principles using tools like ArgoCD for declarative and version-controlled application deployments.

·        Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, with a preference for Terraform.

·        Engage in Agile and Scrum methodologies, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in dynamic development environments.

·        Possess a solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.

·        Demonstrate hands-on experience in at least one programming language, preferably Go or Python.

Nice to Have:

·        Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Google pub-sub.

·        Experience with Relational databases/NoSQL databases like MySQL and MongoDB.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (BE/B.Tech).

4-8 years of relevant experience.

Soft Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for a global audience.

Ability to present ideas and suggestions for projects effectively.

Capability to work collaboratively within a team and lead projects if required.
