Job Description

Enforces corporate standards in the purchase of IT equipment. Provides feedback to corporate IT functions on the future needs of the Center. Optimizes service delivery through the promotion and application of training programs, quality programs, job audits, effective maintenance systems and benchmarking. Optimizes IT support to users of the common telecommunications, WAN, LAN, desktop and mobile computing environment and common applications for the Center. Establishes and manages service Level Agreements G62 required. Ensures that network uptime and desktop hardware/software support meet the agreed standards of service. Manages WAN bandwidth needs and acts as point of contact. Ensures effective implementation of corporate IT policies and Information Security programs. Participates to and in some cases drives the development, implementation and support of MRP applications. Participates in the development of business plans for the Center in conjunction with the General Manager and Marketing Manager. Establishes and follows up on staffing plans, recruiting, career development, and succession planning of IT Personnel. Promotes the visibility of IT careers, develops, recognizes and rewards talent within the IT function of the Center
