\t· Review software requirements and specifications documents, provide input to improve product effectiveness, integration, and usability, may participate in FTR's (Functional Technical Review).
· Ensure engineering solutions meet the acceptance criteria as based upon the current requirements and specifications.
· Utilize and promote use of the software development standards and testing and evaluation techniques defined by Schlumberger software development organization and contribute towards their improvement.
· Coding in the specified language for automation of test pack
· Design, organize and execute test strategy, test plans and test suites with focus on intended application workflows and in close cooperation with the Development Team.
· Acquire and manage test data required by the test plan.
· Develop automated tests to support efficient regression testing.
· Develop scripts and software for integration testing.
· Review and edit user documentation for technical correctness. May participate in producing documentation.
· Track testing progress, proactively identify and escalate project risks.
· Review test plans with focus on the intended application workflows, contribute technical expertise to ensure Test Plan completeness.
· Find, explore, analyse and prioritize technical problems based on the importance to the end user and effect on overall product quality.
· Document and report test results in a timely manner using provided systems for test result reporting and defect tracking.
· Comply with Product Development process.
· May assist in producing training materials.
· Work as part of a highly collaborative Agile product development team to build features that is of high quality and meets requirements
· Hands-on testing (exploratory, installation, scalability, usability, security, performance) in an agile environment along with data management
· Will work closely with Portfolio and Engineering to automate web application testing, including automated regression and SLI Probes
· Making sure processes and systems are in place to generate quality both at code and
application level
· Take responsibility for the quality of the software; helping to troubleshoot issues
· Good understanding of automation test pyramid, experience in practices like pair
programming, Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)

NTAC:3NS-20 • Oversee and manage scope, release process, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables that support business goals • Monitor release schedule and risks and escalate to key stakeholders to minimize delays in product releases • Define, develop, and measure key KPIs that provide visibility to stakeholders on the progress • Need to interface and communicate with Product owners, scrum masters, Quality Assurance, Project Managers, Operations, Business and technical leads on a daily basis. • Lead release planning and own the release activities across portfolio. • Conduct release scrum with product owners, scrum masters. • Help build and manage the Program backlog and agile release train. • Understands CI/CD, works with DevOps to streamline the delivery pipelines. • Contribute ideas and takes the ownership to improve the release activity. • Build processes, methods, tools, and reports that enable and empower Product Owners and stakeholders to make a GO/NO-GO decisions on their own. • Consult Product Owners on solutions, encouraging higher self-enablement options • Measure and monitor progress to ensure tech stack releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations. • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates. • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations. • Own the process and conduct Release Readiness reviews for lower and upper environments. • Communicate release details and schedules to the stakeholders as required. • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities. • Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists Experience & Qualifications: • MUST HAVE Familiarity or experience working in an Agile environment • Experience with release management processes, and DevOps practices including environment management • BS Degree in engineering, science, mathematics, information systems or computer science; or the equivalent in experience • 5+ years of hands on experience in information systems operations environment in release management • 2+ years of previous release and/or test management experience • 2+ years of experience playing the Scrum Master role • Experience in automation testing framework preferred • Experience in financial services preferred
