Job Role Description:

- Very experienced iOS application developer for a team that develops mobile application software (UI and backend)

- Responsible for requirement analysis, design, implementation, developer testing and bug fixing of various modules

- Interaction with global teams spread across Japan and North America

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in iOS application and/or middleware design and development using C++ / Objective -C / Swift.

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field


Essential Skills:

- Must have worked on designing and implementation of modules using C++ /Objective-C /Swift starting with basic requirement specifications

- Experience with utilizing GPU/CPU for parallel programming and high-performance computing

- Good knowledge in iOS, Xcode, Cocoa and UI kit frameworks

- Exposure to AVKit framework and Metal framework

- Strong knowledge in OOPS concepts - Object Oriented Design Principles, Design Patterns, Data Structures, etc

- Prior experience of coding and debugging with IDEs like Microsoft Visual Studio (windows) and/or XCode (MacOS) / Android Studio

- Exposure to cross platform application development


Desired Skills:

- Familiar with concepts of C++ version 11 and OpenCL framework

- Knowledge of CppUnit (unit testing framework module for C++ programming language)

- Familiar with basic audio/video concepts like codecs, pixel type conversions, frame rates, resolution, various container formats etc

- Basic JavaScript knowledge


Other Skills:

- Capable of resolving complex technical issues

- Capable of mentoring the team on technical concepts

- Familiar with Agile methodology

- Exposure of working in a scrum team

- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
